As we can all attest these are strange times we live in. We keep hearing the term "our new normal" which seems like an oxymoron and a feeble attempt at helping us feel at ease with an unfavorable situation. One area I have taken solace in during the pandemic is simplifying my material life. My husband and I decided to move from our fairly new home to a fixer upper with land last month and while the to-do list is a welcome distraction from what's going on in the world at large the move magnified the sheer amount of things we had acquired in the last 15 years. The act of purging seems to have a therapeutic effect on my soul and donating/recycling all of our unwanted acquisitions hopefully could help out other families As Marie Kondo says, "Keep only those things that speak to the heart, and discard items that no longer spark joy."
One area I don't skimp on is the quality of our food. What goes into our body is perhaps one of the single most important decisions we can make for ourselves and our families. That is the reason I founded Boulder Bake and I hope in the extra time you have at home you are able to bake more and create more in your kitchen. Our mixes can be customized and doctored up in countless ways for almost any dietary restriction. Enjoy in good health!
With much gratitude,
